Question by Mr.Funeral: Who knows what do I do to hook my Comcast HD box to my Insignia 32 inch 1080p LCD HDTV?
Yes my yesterday my dad went and took back the regular cable boxes and exchanged them for hd boxes(we all have flat screen TVs in the house) and I am having the worst of trouble hooking mines up to my TV,all of the boxes are hooked up but the picture still looks the same as it did on the old boxes(I can’t see the difference)yes all of the cable box and TV settings are correct. I have tried everything. My dad got a HD dvr box for the TV in the living room(the box is gray in color)he got regular HD boxes for his room,my room and my brother’s room(boxes are smaller and weigh less and are black in color)
What should I do about all of this,I am thinking about throwing myself down the stairs because have been up all night messing around with my HD cable box.To give you an idea of what they look like click here
this is the one that is in the living room-

and these are the ones that are in the rest of the bed rooms-
Well I couldn’t find a picture for these but-when you watch something in HD a blue light comes on on the front of the box.
By the way the modal number for my Insignia Advanced serious TV is NS-L32X-10A
I have this TV

Do all your HDTV set hooked up with a component or HDMI cable to the boxes? Either cable are required to view HD picture. Make sure you’re tuning to the right channel. Check the Comcast website and look up your channel lineup and look for the HD channels.
